Torbay House
Brixham

Located in the harbour town of Brixham, Torbay House is a historic residence dating from the early 1930s. Having undergone multiple alterations over the decades, followed by a period of neglect, the property presented a unique opportunity for our visionary clients to honour its architectural heritage and restore it to life.

Traditional forms are presented to the street frontage, ensuring the development sits comfortably within the historic character of the area, while a contemporary architectural expression is introduced to the rear elevation through elegant proportions and carefully framed openings that maximise coastal views.

By retaining the original structural framework and reimagining the roof form, the design has evolved to embody refined contemporary living in a prominent clifftop location.
